Michelle Leigh (LeBlanc) Briscoe

  Michelle Leigh Briscoe, 56, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home in Ellsworth. She was born March 3, 1966, in Iowa Falls, IA to Gary LeBlanc and Charlene (Williams) LeBlanc. Michelle spent many years as the manager at the Citizen’s State Bank highway location in Ellsworth but she was most proud of her art studio in Kanopolis, A Lost Art. She married Gary Briscoe in Ellsworth on November 1, 2014.

  Michelle is survived by her husband Gary of Ellsworth; mother Charlene Gorynski (Edward) of Lincoln, NE; father Gary LeBlanc of Florida; brother Scott Gorynski of St. Michael, MN; sister Allison Gerkensmeyer (Brian) of Lincoln, NE; brother Alec Gorynski (Laura) of Lincoln, NE; brother Kyle Gorynski of Denver, CO; sister Deidre Cartwright (Tom) of Bristol, England; son Corey Johnston of Kansas City, KS; and her best friend Daisy.

  Visitation will take place 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2022, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with burial following at Carneiro Cemetery.
