Mark Allen Neff

HOLYROOD

  Mark A. Neff, 62, passed away November 3, 2025 at his home in Holyrood, KS. He was born November 25, 1962 in Little River, KS to Jack and Margaret (Mills) Neff. Mark was a 1981 graduate of Quivira Heights High School in Bushton, KS and grew up in Holyrood. Mark was truly one of a kind. He had the biggest heart and the best sense of humor. He was always cracking jokes and making everyone around him laugh. He was a die-hard KU Jayhawks basketball fan, and if you ever talked hoops with him, you know he could go on for hours. He loved golf, loved hunting, and loved life. But more than anything, he loved people. Mark would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought; that’s just who he was.

  Mark is survived by his sister Jeri Elliot, niece Maranda Houck, nephew Travis Watson, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Mark will be missed for his laughter, his big smile, and the way he could make even the hardest days a little lighter. Rest easy, Mark. The world feels a little dimmer without you, but your love and laughter will stay with all of us forever.
