  John Lee Wacker, 71, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 in Wilson, KS. He was born March 9, 1955 in Ellsworth, KS to Theodore and Esther (Kratzer) Wacker. John was a 1973 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during Vietnam.

  John is survived by his sisters, Marian Maes (Ron), Marlene Costa, and Edith Wacker; brother Lewis Wacker; and sons, Cody and Cassidy Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Sidney Wacker, and sister Lola Gage.

  Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Ellsworth American Legion Post 174, 645 W. 15th St, Ellsworth, KS.
