Joan Ruth (Durr) White

HOLYROOD

  Joan Ruth White, 82, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Wilson, KS. She was born July 27, 1941 in Ellsworth, KS to Earl and Helen (Katzenmeier) Durr. A longtime resident of Holyrood, KS, Joan was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church and home health care provider. After the passing of her first husband, Richard Dale Zorn, she married Weldon White.

  Joan is survived by her sons, Richard Zorn, Jr. and wife Kellie of Chase, KS, David White of Texas, and Scott White and wife Teri of Ellinwood, KS; grandchildren, Jennifer Zorn, Heather Jeffery and husband Roman, Steven Zorn, Kylee and Braxton White, Donnie White, Sheila Pitchford and husband Josh, and Dylan White; and great grandchildren, Koralie, Lincoln, Kallen, Lakyn, Auroura, and Kinsleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard Zorn and Weldon White; daughter, Sharri Zorn; grandson, Michael Zorn; and sister, Marilyn Long.

  A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023 at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery of Holyrood.
