ELLSWORTH
James Beauchamp, 65, passed away August 5, 2023 in Ellsworth. He was born June 4, 1958 in Junction City, KS to Joseph “Joe” Baxter and Sue (Sato) Beauchamp. Jim graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1977. He married Marilyn Kay Dolezal in Ellsworth on October 14, 1978. Jim was a longtime resident of Ellsworth where he had several occupations over the years including the family farm and working for the city of Ellsworth Water Department retiring in 2015 after over 30 years of service. Jim was an avid bowler and one of the few to bowl a perfect 300 game. He also enjoyed motorcycles and classic cars and always appreciated a good TV show. He entered his beloved ’69 Nova in many car shows.
James is survived by his wife, Marilyn Beauchamp of Ellsworth; son, John Beauchamp (Marsha) of Tescott; grandson, Nathan Beauchamp; three step-grandchildren, Rebecca, Diana, and Ronald; brother, Mike Beauchamp (Martha) of Arkansas City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: 1-8 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Parsons Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023 at Parsons Funeral Home with burial following in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
