Ernst Floyd Kasiska

  Ernst “Ernie” Floyd Kasiska, 63, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at his home in Kanopolis, KS. He was born December 7, 1959 in Ellsworth, KS to Floyd and Anna (Kamphuis) Kasiska. Ernie was a longtime resident of Ellsworth County. He retired from the Ellsworth County Road and Bridge Department. He married Ronda Lloyd in Ellsworth on October 17, 1981.

  Ernie is survived by his daughter Lynsey Schultz (Andy) of Ellsworth; son Joshua Kasiska (Lindsay) of Carmichael, CA; grandchildren Jazlynn and Owen Schultz; and loving dog Stormy. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ronda; brother Paul Kasiska; and sisters, Christina Mertes and Patricia Freel.

  A celebration of life service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at High Jinks Rec Club in Ellsworth.
