Diane K. (Jackson) Stephens

  Diane Kathyrn Stephens, 59, of Lansing, Kansas passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1967, the daughter of Donna and Bruce Jackson. Diane was an LPN. She worked for the Leavenworth County Health Department, several nursing homes and was even a travel nurse. Diane married three times: Randy Culbertson, Clifford Benson and her forever, Kevin Stephens on January 10, 2010.

  Diane is survived by daughter, Kathy Jo (Ryan) Tharp; grandsons, Ricky Abbott and Grantham Tharp; sisters, Brenda Jackson-Osborne and Theresa Benson; three nieces, Wendy (Tim) Murray, Liz (Chris) Sadler, and Elana (Ryan) Mackey; several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends; and best friend, Kim Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Debbie Owens. 

  Diane has been cremated, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2026 at St. Joseph of the Valley Catholic Church, 31131 207th St., Leavenworth, KS 66048.
