Brent L. Cunningham

ELLSWORTH

  Brent L. Cunningham, 74, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 in Hays, KS. He was born November 19, 1950 in Ellsworth, KS to Maynard W. and Norma Jean (Bell) Cunningham. Brent grew up in Wilson, KS and attended Wilson High School. He was a long-time resident of Ellsworth where he was co-owner and operator of Cunningham Motors.

  Brent is survived by his sons, Jamie Cunningham of Ellsworth and Alex Cunningham (Alli) of Great Bend, KS; grandchildren, Sailor and Ava Charowhas, Chesney Cunningham, Colton Hower, and Cannon and Callon Cunningham; and brother Kent Cunningham (Janell) of Kanopolis, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mark Cunningham and Jeanne Lee; daughter Candy Charowhas; and infant granddaughter Coral Cunningham.

  The family will hold a come-and-go celebration of life reception from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Parsons Funeral Home in Ellsworth.
